I’ll be in and out at THATCamp tomorrow (I need to make my son’s soccer game at Richard Barry Park 12:00-1:15pm), so can do the 3pm slot if there are people who want to see how I do it. My idea is not to talk about social network concepts, but to just go ahead and map out a whole network.

I would need help from someone who knows how to use Excel (simple operations like transpose, etc.).

THATCamp Piedmont 2014 Workshops http://piedmont2014.thatcamp.org/2014/10/10/thatcamp-piedmont-2014-workshops/ Fri, 10 Oct 2014 13:36:53 +0000 http://piedmont2014.thatcamp.org/?p=161

We’ve got a few excellent workshops lined up for October 18:

  • Digital Mapping using Neatline (led by Anelise Shrout, the Mellon Post-Doc in Digital Studies at Davidson)
  • 3D Printing (led by several Davidson College undergraduates)
  • Programming with Snap!, a visual programming language. No prior experience is necessary! This is for humanists who want a hands-on introduction to programming (led by Raghu Ramanujan, a computer scientist at Davidson)

These workshops run concurrent with the unconference sessions. See the schedule for details. Wish there was another kind of workshop available? Propose your own!
